To apply for a Sutton Trust programme, you must always have attended a state school.
Students who attend a private school on a bursary are not eligible for our programmes. The reason for this is that students who have attended independent schools (even those on bursaries) typically receive increased support and achieve higher outcomes than their counterparts at state-maintained schools.
If you attend a private school as part of your EHCP, and it is paid for by your Local Authority, please get in touch to let us know.
