Applications for the University of Cambridge Sutton Trust Summer School have closed earlier than the other university partners as part of a pilot to introduce a new timeline aimed at strengthening student support. This approach allows the University of Cambridge to provide applicants with enhanced information, advice, and guidance about the Summer School experience, helping students make a more informed decision about whether the University of Cambridge residential is right for them.
This early closure applies only to the University of Cambridge and applications to other partner universities remain open until Thursday 5 March 2026, and students applying to these programmes will continue to receive extensive support. Teachers can encourage students to access Sutton Trust webinars, which provide guidance on choosing the most suitable summer school and highlight the broader support available through the Trust.
Upcoming student webinars:
- Student webinar at 5pm on Jan 21, 2026 – Register here to attend or access the recording if the webinar has passed
