There will be residential opportunities for students on some of our in-person Pathways programmes, namely Pathways to Banking & Finance, Law, Engineering and Veterinary Medicine.
1. Pathways National Conferences (Banking & Finance, Law, Engineering)
Students on an in-person Pathways to Banking & Finance, Law or Engineering programme will have have the option to attend a residential conference during the programme.
The Pathways National Conferences are 3-4 day residentials, usually taking place at Warwick University. The conferences bring together Pathways students from across the country to take part in expert-led information sessions on your chosen career (Banking & Finance, Law or Engineering), skills sessions, Q&A panels, networking opportunities and fun social activities (e.g. karaoke and sports).
You'll interact with current undergraduates and stay overnight in university halls so that you can get a taster of what being a university student really looks like.
Due to capacity, students who are not enrolled on an in-person Pathways to Banking & Finance, Law or Engineering pathway will not be able to apply for a space on a conference.
2. Pathways to Veterinary Medicine
The Pathways to Veterinary Medicine programme is largely online but students will take part in a summer residential at the University of Nottingham.
This residential provides the chance to live and learn in a university environment. Staying overnight in student halls, you’ll take part in taster courses and use expert equipment, meet university students, academics and industry professionals from across the country and receive expert guidance on studying Veterinary Medicine.
The conference will provide you with deep insights into the world of Veterinary Medicine. A few examples of the types of activities you could take part in are:
- A range of academic sessions
- Personals development workshops
- Social activities
- The final day will include a professional insight element where participants can meet and network with employers from the sector.
